    Norwich City v Swansea City

Struggling Norwich City will hope to turn their recent poor form around when they host Swansea City on Saturday afternoon in a clash between two teams who will be desperate for three points.

The Canaries almost came away from the Etihad Stadium with a point last weekend, until they conceded a penalty in the last minute. That defeat left Norwich with four defeats in a row and only two points in their last six matches. Swansea have also found life difficult in the autumn months and have just a solitary win in their last seven matches, after losing 3-0 to Arsenal in their last outing.

If Norwich are to claim their first victory since 12th September against Bournemouth, they will have to turn their home record around which has seen them win once, draw once and lose six of their last eight games at Carrow Road. Swansea will also have to leave the form book on the bonfire, with just one win compared to 11 defeats in their last 15 trips to Carrow Road.

Goals will be expected on Saturday afternoon. There has been 25 of them in the last six meetings between the two sides and Norwich have been involved in 38 and Swansea 37 in the Premier League so far this season. Only Chelsea, Sunderland and Leicester City have seen as many or more goals during their games. The hosts are also still the only side in the top flight searching for their first clean sheet of the season.

Swansea's most dangerous outlet might be their winger Jefferson Montero. The Ecuadorian has embarked on the most dribbles and delivered the most crosses in the Premier League this season. However, if an opposition wanted anyone to meet those crosses it would be Norwich's Sebastian Bassong, who has completed 104 clearances this season, 17 more than anyone else in the league. The visitors have found life difficult in front of goal in recent matches, with Bafetimbi Gomis going seven games without scoring and midfielder Jonjo Shelvey having the most shots in the league without scoring.

Norwich should welcome back Dieumerci Mbokani from illness on Saturday, but will be without Matt Jarvis and Andre Wisdom who both have knee injuries. Captain Russell Martin also starts his suspension for a straight red card after a deliberate handball against Manchester City last weekend. Swansea do not have any fresh injury concerns and could welcome Wayne Routledge back to the squad for the first time since the start of October.

    Key Players:
Cameron Jerome- if Norwich are to take all three points, the striker may well have to score in consecutive matches for the first time since November 2010 after netting at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.

Jonjo Shelvey- the England midfielder is the driving force in the Swansea set-up and could provide the creativity to unlock a nervy Norwich defence who will be depleted with the absence of Russell Martin.

Chris Lincoln's Prediction: Norwich City 2-2 Swansea City
Alex Neil has struggled to get Norwich firing at home since he took over in January and a lack of confidence combined with a shaky defence could prevent the hosts from claiming all three points this weekend.
