Cesc Fabregas is working "with a smile" and is not for sale insists Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink

Guus Hiddink has insisted Cesc Fabregas comes to work “with a smile” and is not for sale in January.

The Spain midfielder was subbed off on Boxing Day at Watford and then missed Monday's draw at Manchester United with a fever.
Italian clubs Inter Milan and Juventus are monitoring the situation of the former Arsenal and Barcelona star who returned to the Premier League for £30million last year.
But Chelsea boss Hiddink said: “He's coming in with a smile, which is what I always like.
"They come in with a smile and not a worn out face. Cesc was in this morning and trained. We played a game with the academy, and he did play a full game. He was out of his temperature problems.
“We need all the players here until the end of the season. You know better than I do that Chelsea are still in a position where we have to improve to get up the table, so we need all the players at the moment.
"So we don't talk about the rumours.”
Diego Costa was suspended for the visit to Old Trafford so Eden Hazard was deployed as the central striker.
It leaves Chelsea needing reinforcements in January.

“The window is wide open,” Hiddink said. “We'll see. I'm not going in advance to talk about those things. It's a bit 'if'. I'll talk in-house.
“If you have seen the previous match when Diego was out, and we had some other injured players... I hope they recover very fast to be available. We need a double occupation for all the positions, and we didn't have that. But that's not talking about the very short future.”

Radamel Falcao appeals for a penalty after a challenge from Maarten Stekelenburg

Radamel Falcao is out of Sunday's trip to Crystal Palace while Loic Remy and Gary Cahill are doubtful.
The Dutch caretaker manager said: “Falcao I doubt it. He'll come back with the same injury last week when we tested him, and Remy (shin) is also doubtful.
"Gary Cahill didn't go on the pitch this morning, which means he has also a little problem (calf). But we have several days to go to prepare, so I'm not negative regarding Gary Cahill.”
Patrick Bamford is set to return to Chelsea after unilaterally ending his loan spell at Crystal Palace.
“That's also an issue between the two clubs, us and Palace,” Hiddink added. “The managers and directors will talk about that situation.”
