    Tottenham Hotspur v Norwich City

Christmas came early for Norwich City last weekend when they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford for the first time since 1989. Alex Neil will be hoping that Santa will be just as kind on Boxing Day as his side face another difficult away trip to Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs found themselves replacing United in the final Champions League position when a Harry Kane double gave them three points at Southampton last weekend. Despite the hosts being inconsistent in recent times, with two wins, three draws and one defeat from their last six outings, Mauricio Pochettino's men find themselves just nine points behind league leaders Leicester City.

Norwich find themselves at the other end of the table, with that victory at Old Trafford being just their second in their last 12 Premier League matches. The three points dragged the Canaries out of the relegation zone and into 16th position, as Alex Neil's men fight for survival.

The hosts have only conceded five goals in their last ten Premier League meetings with Norwich, yet the visitors have an excellent recent record against the North London club, losing just one of their previous five fixtures. However, Boxing Day tends to represent a hangover for the Canaries, who have lost four of their five previous Premier League fixtures on this festive day. Spurs also have an excellent record against promoted opposition, winning 17 of their last 19 meetings with sides coming from the Championship.

If Norwich are to be successful at White Hart Lane, they will have to nullify the threats of Harry Kane and Dele Alli. The former has eight goals in his last eight Premier League fixtures, whilst the latter has played a part in four goals in his last four outings. Cristian Eriksen may also fancy his chances of bagging a goal, scoring on both occasions he has taken to the field on Boxing Day in the top tier of English football. The saving grace for Norwich is that only Newcastle have thrown away more points than Spurs from winning positions. Alex Neil's men have started slowly in numerous Premier League fixtures this season, but the statistics will give the visiting fans hope if they go a goal behind.

Spurs woll be without midfielder Alex Pritchard and attacker Clinton N'Jie, suffering from ankle and knee injuries respectively. Norwich have no new fresh injury concerns and both Andre Wisdom and Matt Jarvis could return from recent knocks.

    Key Players:
Harry Kane- the England striker has 9 Premier League goals so far this campaign and will be a menace to a Norwich defence who have only kept one clean sheet all season.

Cameron Jerome- the Norwich target man scored one and set up one against Manchester United last weekend and should be full of confidence.

Chris Lincoln's Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Norwich City
The outcome will all depend on what Spurs side turns up, but the visitors should be full of confidence after their excellent victory last weekend.
