Africa Cup of Nations 2017 - who will be probably missing (Part 2)

    - Sadio Mane (Senegal)

The Reds will have to continue their pursuit for the top spot without the Senegalese, commencing match week 21. Mane, who is Liverpool's top scorer with 8 goals will miss at least two big league clashes, including the away encounter against Manchester United and the home fixture against Chelsea 16 days later. No 19's absence may really shake things up in the top four.

    Fixtures to be missed:
@ Man Utd (15/01/2017), Old Trafford
    vs Swansea (21/01/2017), Anfield
    vs Chelsea (31/01/2017), Anfield
    @ Hull (04/02/2017), KCOM Stadium

    Manchester United:
    - Eric Bailly (Ivory Coast)

Jose Mourinho can't be really happy about the way things are going with the 38m EUR singing from Villareal. Bailly has missed four games this season due to a knee injury suffered at Stamford Bridge and failed to make the squad twice already. Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo can easily fill the gap for him.

    Fixtures to be missed:
    vs Liverpool (15/01/2017), Old Trafford
    @ Stoke (21/01/2017), Bet365 Stadium
    vs Hull (01/02/2017), Old Trafford
@ Leicester City (05/02/2017), King Power Stadium

    - Adama Traore (Mali)

La Masia graduate Traore is a true disappointment so far. The Malian hasn't netted any goal so far, having played 12 matches, half of them from start. Aitor Karanka can only hope that the attacker finds his way to the net during the tournament and comes back sharper than ever.

    Fixtures to be missed:
    @ Watford (15/01/2017), Vicarage Road
vs West Ham (21/02/2017), Riverside Stadium
vs West Brom (31/01/2017), Riverside Stadium
@ Tottenham Hotspur (04/02/2017), White Hart Lane

    - Sofiane Boufal (Morocco)

After a harsh beginning with the Saints, Boufal finally found his rhythm and sparks the offense from left wing. It's a big loss for Claude Puel, who at the moment has to cope with six absences already, while the seventh one is on his way to Gabon.

    Fixtures to be missed:
    @ Burnley (14/01/2017), Turf Moor
vs Leicester (22/01/2017), St. Mary's Stadium
    @ Swansea (31/01/2017), Liberty Stadium
vs West Ham (04/02/2017), St. Mary's Stadium

    Stoke City:
    - Wilfried Bony (Ivory Coast)
    - Mame Biram Diouf (Senegal)
    - Ramadan Sobhi (Egypt)

Stoke City is about to go through small turbulence during ACON 2017. Just five from possible 15 points grabbed from past 5 games dropped The Potters to 11th place, seven points clear of the relegation zone. Mark Hughes will need to do hist best throughout the next two months, otherwise, we may expect another managerial chance this season.

    Fixtures to be missed:
@ Sunderland (14/01/2017), Stadium of Light
vs Man Utd (21/01/2017), Bet365 Stadium
    vs Everton (01/02/2017), Bet365 Stadium
@ West Brom (04/02/2017), The Hawthorns

    - Wabhi Khazri (Tunisia)
    - Papy Djilobodji (Senegal)
    - Lamine Kone (Ivory Coast)
    - Didier Ndong (Gabon)

While Ranieri will have to patch things up in attack, David Moyes has to do the same at the back. Lamine Kone and Papy Djibodji are hard to replace, especially with ex-Man Utd Paddy McNair ruled out for the rest of the campaign. The Black Cats are likely to struggle in midfield, as Ndong is one of few fit players of the second line. Don't be surprised if it's farewell for Moyes next month.

    Fixtures to be missed:
vs Sotke (14/02/2017), Stadium of Light
@ West Brom (21/01/2017), The Hawthorns
vs Tottenham (31/01/2017), Stadium of Light
@ Crystal Palace (04/02/2017), Selhurst Park

    - Nordim Amrabat (Morocco)
    - Brice Dja Djedje (Ivory Coast)
    - Adlene Guediora (Algeria)

The Golden Boys should shine without the African trio anyway. It would've been a problem if Nigeria qualified to the finals.

    Fixtures to be missed:
    vs Middlesbrough (14/01/2017), Vicarage Road
    @ Bournemouth (21/01/2017), Vitality Stadium
    @ Arsenal (31/01/2017), Emirates Stadium
    vs Burnley (04/02/2017), Vicarage Stadium

    West Ham United:
    - Andre Ayew (Ghana)
    - Sofiane Feghouli (Algeria)
    - Cheikhou Kouyate (Senegal)
    - Diafra Sakho (Senegal)

West Ham is slowly pushing themselves off the bottom, after a horrific beginning of their 16/17 Premier League campaign. The calendar for January and February seem to be pretty balanced, therefore The Hammers have a good opportunity to continue their three match winning streak. However, Slaven Bilic must reorganize his team and replace clutch Kouyate at the back and Ayew on the wing. Feghouli and Sakho will need replacement on the bench.

    Fixtures to be missed:
vs Crystal Palace (14/01/2017), London Stadium
    @ Middlesbrough (21/01/2017), Riverside Stadium
vs Man City (01/02/2017), London Stadium
    @ Southampton (04/02/2017), St. Mary's Stadium
