    Everton V Manchester United Preview

    Everton v Manchester United preview

Coming off a run of 4 home draws. United travel to Goodison park where a much needed win is critical for under fire manager Jose Mourinho. Despite an impressive midweek league cup win over West Ham, United's league form is less than impressive with only one league win in November. United will be hoping that December is more fortunate for them but face a tricky task against Everton who have remained winless in November and are hoping to recover from a 5-0 mauling by Chelsea, a loss to Southampton and an unimpressive draw against lowly Swansea. A win for Everton however will see them leapfrog united in the table.

    Team News

Manchester United  still have Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling missing in defence, although the former has just returned to first team training, United may also be missing Luke Shaw after he picked up a knock in the  midweek win against West ham.  Paul Pogba and Marouane Felliani return to midfield after thier suspensions but Wayne Rooney will miss the tie due to a one match ban.

    Probable team Line up,
David De Gea starts in goal. With a defence made up of Matteo Darmian, Marcus Rojo, Phil jones and Antonio Valencia making up the numbers, Paul pogba leads the midfield with the impressive Henrikh mkhityaran getting a rare start, alongside in from Juan Mata,Antony Martial and Ander Herrera all tucked in behind striker Zlatan ibrahimovic,

On the subs bench there is a slim chance Eric Bailly will be featured should he come through first team training unscathed, Marouane Felliani will likely make the bench as will Memphis Depay and Marcus Rashford.

    Everton Team News
Although Mo Besic will still be missing from the everton line up due a cruciate ligmament imjury that is likely to see him sidelined for several more months, Manager Ronald Koeman has been buoyed by the returns of Arouna Kone and their influential midfielder James McCarthy. Though what roles they will be playing in the match willdepend on how they react in training.

    Possible Line up
Maarten Stekelenburg  Continues to be a mainstay in goal. With the defence expected to consist of Ashley Williams, Phil Jagielka, Seamus Colman and the recently returnee Leighton Baines. In midfield likely to feature are Bolassie, Idrissa Gueye, Gareth Barry, and Ross Barkley pencilled in behind the  attacking Duo of  7 goal striker Romelu Lukaku  and Gerard Deulofeu

Everton's subs are likely to include  returning Duo Arouna Kone,  and James McCarthy, Spanish goalkeeper Joel and Argentinian Defender Mori,

    1. Everton will meet Arsenal in today's game played at Goodison Park Stadium. In their last meeting, Arsenal won the match with 0-2. I wonder if Wenger's team prepared us with a surprise for today. Based on the past results of the two teams, I would expect for Arsenal to perform well during this meeting and win this game. It should be interesting to see if Alexis Sánchez will score during this match as he has a good average in terms of goals scored / match.
