    Swansea sacks Bob Bradley

Bob Bradley has been sacked by Swansea City after just 85 days in charge as head coach.

The club confirmed parting ways with the manager through social media. "We are sorry to lose Bob after such a short period of time" - said chairman Huw Jenkins.

"Unfortunately, things haven't worked out as planned and we felt we had to make the change with half of the Premier League season remaining. With the club going trough such a tough time, we have to try to find answers to get ourselves out of trouble" - Jenkins added.

Bob Bradley joined the Welsh side in October, when Italian manager Francesco Guidolin was dissmissed after losing 5 out of 7 first games of the 16/17 season.

Placed 17th at the time Swansea hoped for a twist of fate, yet Bradley was the one to put the team in the relegation zone, gaining just eight points from the next 11 matches.

Monday's home beating served by Bilic's West Ham (1-4) has left the club's fans furious and the management board under massive pressure for a managerial change once again this season.

"Personally, I have nothing but praise to Bob. He is a good man; a good person who gave everything for the job. His work rate is phenomenal and we wish him well for the future" - Swansea chairman claimed.

The former US men's national team coach was the first ever American manager appointed by a Premier League club. Before moving to Wales, Bradley managed Ligue 2 side Le Harve for nearly 11 months.

First team coaches Alan Curtis and Paul Williams will temporarily take charge, until a successor is appointed.
