Arsenal may have overpaid for the German World Cup winner, paying nearly double his asking price, but every penny has been worth it.

A youth team player at Everton and despite never playing a single first team game for Everton Mustafi knows about English football and  how tough it is.

Arsenal's transfer business may have been slow to get off the ground before they signed the German, they managed to finally get the signing over the line and sign the German for a whopping £35million.

Arsenal had been crying out for a non-nonsense, intelligent centre-back for years to help partner the talented Frenchman Laurent Koscielny and once Arsenal showed interest in Mustafi their fans it is safe to say  were happy to sign him.

He has been an important player for the Gunners, every game he has played in the Gunners haven't lost.

Burnley's record transfer has featured in the majority of his side's games since his £10million switch from Championship side Derby County in late August.

After a highly impressive Euros for the Republic of Ireland, Hendrick was highly sought after and Burnley were one of his many admirers and the ones who wanted him the most.

He has struck up a good partnership alongside Belgian Steven Defour in the middle of midfield and Hendrick and his partner are important for Burnley if they are to survive in this league.

An all round centre-midfielder he has added a little bit of everything to this Burnley side.

A huge player for Leicester in helping them win a shock Premier League trophy last year, Kante seems to have the same status for his new side Chelsea.

Kante arrived from Leicester for £30million and was the signing that pleased Chelsea fans and has been Conte's best signing to date.

A great engine and with great determination Kante is a player that is vital to this Chelsea team.

Kante's absence at Leicester is a sore miss, but he is arrival at Chelsea is a massive gain.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ended 2016 as Europe's second top scorer this year with a staggering 45 goals in 50 games, only behind to Lionel Messi.

After his goalscoring exploits with PSG, Ibrahimovic was a seeking a new challenge and that challenge was with Manchester United and new manager Jose Mourinho who both have mutual respect for each other.

The Swede started the season in great form, scoring three times in the first three games as United topped the table, his form in fornt of goal dried up and went through his worst patch in his career, but like all good strikers they come through it and since then he has hardly put a foot wrong.

At 35, Ibrahimovic has been involved in most of United's games including the Europa League and the EFL Cup and has scored twice in six matches in Europe.

    Sadio Mane

After moving to Liverpool from Southampton, Mane became the fifth player from Southampton to join the Merseyside club in two years.

Liverpool's previous signings from Southampton have taken time to settle in but Mane, took to Liverpool like a duck to water and even scored on his debut, scoring in a 4-3 win on the opening day against Arsenal.

The Senegalese forward ripped Liverpool apart when he scored a hat-trick in a 4-2 win for the Saints last year against Liverpool.

What he brought to Southampton, he has taken with him to Liverpool. His pace and dribbling and eye for goal have been on show so far in a Liverpool shirt

The biggest and most definitely best signing of the Jurgen Klopp era.

A free transfer from Schalke, the Cameroonian has been a big part in Liverpool's good start to the season.

A powerful, pacey ball playing centre-back the Cameroonian has brought a solidness to the Liverpool defence.

A bonus for Liverpool is Matip won't be travelling with Cameroon to the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Gabon, but could still be banned for refusing to go to the tournament.

An old school central-midfielder that has been strong for Tottenham this season. Tottenham's first signing of the summer and signed a second time by Mauricio Pochettino, the same man that bought him in at Southampton three years ago.

The most defensive midfielder Tottenham have alongside Eric Dier, the Kenyan has been the club's first choice defensive midfielder.

The Kenyan has also added a lot to the Tottenham midfielder, with his calmness and great defensive qualities.

    Idrissa Gana Gueye

Many are surprised at just how well Gueye has performed at Everton since his summer arrival, despite being part of the Aston Villa team  that got relegated.

Signed after the Toffees triggered a release clause, the hard-working tough tackling midfielder has been a class act in Everton's midfield and many people have seen why Everton signed him.

He has featured in most of Everton's games this season, but will be sorely missed as he departs for the African cup of Nations for Senegal.
