Will these two Premier League strikers move to Celtic?

To say Celtic are in a strong position in the Scottish Premiership is an understatement. The Bhoys sit 19 points clear of rivals, Rangers who currently occupy 2nd place.

And although a sixth straight title seems to be on the way to Parkhead, Celtic fans will not deem Brendon Rodgers a success until he makes waves in European competition, something the Northern Irishman has started this season.

In the knowledge that he needs to be strong in Europe, our Landlord predicts every transfer window is a time for Rodgers to be able to strengthen his squad with true Champions League quality and although the difficulty comes with bringing that caliber of player to Celtic, it is something that has to be done.

It is easy to make mistakes in the Transfer Market and with the challenge not necessarily there domestically for Celtic, Rodgers and his coaching staff may not find their mistakes until next season once they resume European competition.

With that said, here are two players outlined by our Landlords as definite no-goes this January.

    Robert Snodgrass

Celtic may have the opportunity to make Celtic fan, Snodgrass' dreams come true by bringing him to Parkhead this January.

Although, Snodgrass has 9 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions this season, Brendon Rodgers surely does not believe he his the quality player needed at Celtic to make the difference in Europe.
    Jordan Rhodes

With Middlesborough boss, Aitor Karanka confirming Rhodes is allowed to leave the Riverside. Celtic are just one of the clubs reportedly interested in the Scotsman.

However, Celtic fans surely cannot see past wonderkid, Moussa Dembele as well as favourite, Leigh Griffiths for their current strikers spot and feel that the £10-12m needed to bring Rhodes to the club would be better of spent elsewhere.
